My new hobby.  Doing Pet Portraits in pastel.  This one's oil, but I can do pastel.

Paw Prints On Our Hearts - Available soon.

Here it is.  Available soon.  Don't you just want to squeeze that guy?  Love him.

I have noticed an increase in the fatty tumors on our beagle.  I got lazy and went back to a grain free dry dog food.  Now I think I'll go back to making his food.  His energy has gone way down and I'm hoping it will pick up with the change and the tumors will shrink.  Thank goodness they are not malignant.

We are currently working on a CD with Pet Stories and Poems, all set to music.  They will be for sale soon on Audible and Amazon.  "Paw Prints on our Hearts" Copyright 2013.  Watch for them.   They would make a great Christmas Gift.  I'll post a picture soon.

Homemade dog food

Hi there - I just came across a great site about homemade dog food.  I was concerned about our older dogs and their kidneys when eating manufactured dog food.  So, in my research, I came across this site.  Take a look.  He has some really good recipes for your dog.

Running around the house like a maniac...

What makes dogs do this.  Wouldn't you love to get inside their heads and find out just what spurred them on the run like a maniac - figure eights, straight -a - ways, eyes wide, ears flying behind them, narrowly missing end tables and around coffee tables.  Why can't he do this outside?
